South Northants is a largely rural area that borders three counties; Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and also Northampton borough, Milton Keynes and Daventry district

The Villages

There are around 90 villages and hamlets in South Northants. Five of the large villages are associated with the secondary schools in Bugbrooke, Roade, Deanshanger, Middleton Cheney and Silverstone. Outside the Towns of Brackley and Towcester the rural area has a population of around 65,000 people and covers an area around 250 square miles
